Thread: car will not go over 2k rpm

Yea, the black one has a roller rocker engine. Basically its the 2000+ sr20. I like them, got one in my g20.

Check your fuel system and check your battery voltage if the reground doesn't work. Since its an engine swap, make sure the engine is grounded.

I had the same problem on my old SE-R that I just sold. I replace the MAF, and it still did it. So I finally decided to get the wiring for the MAF checked out, all the way to the ECU, and I found that it had a cut on the wire and it wasn't making full contact. So I got the whole thing re-wired and the car worked perfectly after that.

thanks for the info guys....soon as it quits raining and i can bring it to a friends shop... ima reground it and if that doesn't work ill rewire from the maf to the ecu and see how that goes!! wish me luck!~!
