Can I use that autometer adapter for that one?

You can use that autometer adapter no problem. If you take out the stock dender though the light in your dash will come on if I remember correctly even if the sender is not hooked up due to the way its wired. Maybe someone else can confirm that for you but if that's the case you'll want to go in and remove the bulb from the cluster too. If that sounds like too much then you need an adapter like the nissport one to run both senders at the same time.

I am now a master at gauge cluster bulbs, so that won't be an issue if I need to do it! However, I picked that sender based on Chriscar's recommendation as it actually has a "built in 7psi low pressure warning connection, which you can wire to either your stock oil pressure warning light, or to an external one." Maybe I can figure out how to hook it up to the cluster light?

The stock light will stay off with the sender disconnected. The Light comes on only with there is a "short" in the wire. I had the light start coming back on for me, the stock sender wire was hitting the exhaust.

Vadim, is that an oil cooler on your block? From what little I can see of it, it looks a little the one on my uncles Skyline. And I swear I see that same knife in every pic you take while showing your work on your car lol.

Yes it is, DET's have a stock oil cooler on them .

Ah yes, that knife has been a big part of my build. I used to carry it around with me, but a 4" blade is not always appreciated. Thus I use it on the car .

It's amazing what you miss out on when you just slap a turbo on your DE...

I have a knife that same size that I use for everything, too. I still carry it with me everywhere. It serves me well lol.

Yes. I used this sender to install an oil pressure gauge on my VE and was able to keep the OEM light. I don't remember how I wired it up, so it must have been pretty straight forward.

If you get stuck, let me know and I will crawl under my car and tell you what I did.

Well it's not much, but yes it does help at least a little bit. A proper oil cooler setup would be way better, but this is better then nothing.

I'm not sure if it's easily removable and possible to put it onto the DE block.

The only difference with them is the water lines. I think the water pipes have the tubes for it that are just capped off on the DE.
