I did a good bit of research on NPT and BSPT deal, and Autometer has a 1/8 NPT to 1/8 BSPT adapter for $10ish. Way cheaper then a Nissport

Auto Meter

Did you have to drill a new hole through the firewall for the SS line? Also, are you running oil pressure from there, or oil temp?

Oh Nic, and I'm moving tomorrow morning. I should be packing, but I'm here giving advice

Good luck with the move! I can understand putting off packing, it is a horrible process.

Oil pressure comes from there. Oil temp should be taken from the pan.

And yes, packing is BLEH. Luckily all i have left to pack are clothes and my PC and a couple misc things.

I ran it through the same hole as the engine harness. The line is a little thick but it worked . Oil pressure only

Good tip and pics Vadim, thanks! IDK why but just about every sensor that comes into contact with oil seems to leak over time, or trans fluid. I have 2 or 3 on my SCC car that need to be replaced, Dave was cool enough to send me the bag of replacements he bought for just shipping. Like Dave however, I haven't had time or motivation to install them...this Winter for sure

I bought mine from McMaster Carr for $8. It is SS and made for 6100psi.

Part Num: 4092K11
PRECISION THREADED TYPE 316 SS PIPE FITTING, 1/8" NPT FEMALE X 1/8" BSPT MALE ADAPTER

The Autometer one did not fit my engine even though it claimed to be 1/8" BSPT.

Yes indeed, Oil is a nasty thing! Well just like water eating away valleys and canyons oils is about the same, except it's under pressure at that!.

My transmission is dripping a little bit, at first I thought it was my axle seal, but after further investigation I noticed that the bottom part of the transmission where the bell housing seals to the gear box, it started leaking

If this transmission goes, P11 or B15 here I come!

I just bought some VDO gauges for my car (I decided electrical instead because I don't want all of those fluids on this side of the firewall!) and the sender I bought is this:

360-009: Pressure Senders: 0 - 80 PSI / 5 Bar- 10-180 Ohms (VDO Range) - egauges.com

Can I use that autometer adapter for that one?

Yup I don't see why not, 1/8 NPT is 1/8 NPT
