Thread: New round here!

What's up guys? My name is Tim. I live in Alcoa Tn(just minutes from knox vegas). I just picked up a 96 200sx SE-R for $2000. I've been building nissan's for about 10 years now, this being the first fwd that i have owned. I have owned and built quite a few 240's with RB's, SR's, and KA's.

Now any reason to why you have built all those engines instead of sticking to one? Or did you build it for friends/business. In either case great work

The RB20 at the top and the KA with the green powder coating were a couple of my personal cars/engines. The rest of them are engines I built at home for customers, and a couple i built while working at a shop.

welcome and yeah nice work, nice to see a diy builder like myself and many other people on this board. You will find that most people in this community like and prefer to build their own stuff. Hell alot of our manifolds and stuff like that come from people in this community making them.

^ Thanks man, I've done a lot of fab work on everything ranging from the nissan scene to the street rod scene around here. I built the intake on the RB20, in the pic above, when I worked at thp. The intake on the green KA was the last intake I made. I've yet to attempt to build any type exhaust manifold/header yet.
