That is correct. But somehow the electrician got my injectors to the battery direct. But this has showed me that not all is well with my electrical because before the o2 sensor also was not wired in correctly and I had to run cable to the ecu for the sensor. It looks like I will have to do the same for each injector.

I will also be checking the voltage readings on all the pins and compare it to my friends and make sure they match.

well it seems like you're going after another issue. If your car was still "dumping fuel when it's off", it would have issues starting the 1st time as well, not only the 2nd time. While your injectors might benefit from being re-wired, I can almost guarantee that it isn't the issue you described originally. They aren't letting fuel through when the car is off, otherwise it would never start for you, ever.

Based on your original post you've got a sensor issue, not an injector issue. The first two that come to mind are MAF and Coolant Temp Sensor, neither of which you've checked. With those two being left untested, I'm not really able to help since you really aren't being thorough in your troubleshooting. Testing sensors is easy, rewiring injectors is not as easy and has the potential to give you more problems stacked over what you've got going on currently.

Also, it will be much better if you test and compare to the FSM for your vehicle/engine, not your friends car. You never know, just because his seems to run fine doesn't mean something on his car isn't done properly. Using the FSM ensures you're testing the right spots for the right stuff, and that you're following the right procedure.

I'd say "this is just my .02", but that's more like a dollar up there

CAYMAN easy to track down the culprit follow harness from ignition to everything else.. thats only way everything can stay on.. if he by passed the switch or crimped wires an shoved the fuse into them.

Wingman, The car does not start unless it is left for more than 2 to 3 hours. I guess that at this time the gas that was in the lines have already pass through. Gas is going in to the motor because when I try to crank it for the second time and it fails to start you can smell the gas as if it has flooded. I will try a different maf sensor(mine is a brand new unit).

Ah, this is important info that hasn't been stated until now. I was under the impression that it always started the first time, but would not restart (i.e if it died while driving), as stated in your posts. That assumption, along with the statement that "the car holds pressure well" and that you "dont see any signs of leakage" is what directed me away from the injectors.

Just to check, before you go digging through wiring, you can pull the spark plugs, turn the key to ignition, and look/smell inside the cylinders and see if you can notice fuel leaking. If it's a highport, you can pull the rail off the manifold and do the same with the ignition on.

Also, why not go back to the electrician that did this and ask him what he did? He might know what's up or remember some shortcut he took to get the car to run. I'd rather just ask the guy what he did than spend countless hours searching for it.

Do some of these symptoms sound like a leaking FPR diaphram?

Trying to find him now is also the problem. That is wat i want to do first is to ask him what he did.
