Oil filter relocator kit?
Anybody know where I can buy a oil filter relocation kit for my sr20ve?

The reason being is my powersteering hose is kinda blocking me from removing my oil filter, so I was thinking this would be a much easier way to deal with it.

thanks in advance.

I had one for a little while, it was a pain in the ass, but that's just my 2cents.

EDIT -- Also, I don't remember who made it, its been ~5 yrs or so now

As an option some have used the oil filter mount off a 91-99 DE on the VE with good results.

You could swap your oil housings to the highport and get the spin on adapter from G Spec Performance and get all your hose and fittings to a universal adapter filter mount.

How do you do that??? Any writeups on this or pics?

The oil relocation just seems easier????

Its easiest to grind the notch out a little for clearance.

Or like mentioned above, switch to a DE filter mount.

it aint - 3 bolts to remove the VE oil filter housing, 3 bolts to put the DE housing on. Dont need a writeup, takes 3 seconds to do. Just make sure you clean off the old housing gasket and invest in a new one. baddabing, all done, and it's cheap.

What's wrong with the OEM location? I'm with crim. I had one too, and it's much less of a PITA without it.

Like i said to begin with I can't take my oil filter off because the VE powersteering hose is blocking it.
No lie last time i removed the filter i had to crush and rip it apart to get it off.
I guess i will look into doing a conversion if I can...
