I bet you can make that engine last a little longer. If the headgasket is leaking it can't be that bad or you would have more serious problems. I would address your low oil pressure first before that morphs into a spun bearing. If it was me I'd switch to 10W40 and a can of 'Engine Restore'. You really don't have much to loose, its not like your worried about sludging it up now.

Well when I changed my oil on Monday I added some Castrol High Mileage 5w30, regular 5w30 was out. From what it seems like the high mileage should help fill up the holes/leaks. I don't have time to see whats going on with the oil pump... I have to go on a 260 mile trip on Monday-Tuesday. So hopefully she will live through.

She survived through a 1500 mile trip this New years, but thats before the oil light...

That separator does look like oil and water mixed. Did the rest of your oil look like that?

Nope, under the Valve cover there are no traces of white, just all black...

I did see the same thing in the PCV tube that goes into the VC/Intake Mani... someone sucked some water into the Intake mani?

No big loads on the engine at this point, and back off that timing... little bit of detonation would be the last thing you want.

PCV sucks blow by pressure from the crankcase meaning that there could possibly water/oil vapor mixed together, depositing in the PCV hose over a period of time.

Not flooring an SR??!?!?! Thats like a crime! . But I hear you

I cleaned out the PCV hose with some carb cleaner, and cleaned the PCV valve it self too.

And the sludge monster lives, as far as it seems!

I figured out why the oil light was coming on. I got under the car and first thing I saw was this:

So that was like, BINGO! Apparently I forgot the 12mm wrench probably on the knock sensor, because I was taking pictures to post them up on the forum. While driving that wrench flew off and hit the wire causing it to rip. Thus me getting the oil light a day after I changed the knock sensor!

So I got to fixing it

Finally everything place and ducted away

So far the car has been fine, no oil light. I think some damage was probably done due to lack of oil pressure for about 250 miles. Hopefully nothing too serious.

I stand corrected. Glad everything is OK.

Oh no not really, you are still correct. I think I drove too long without proper oil pressure, so the car doesn't feel the same for now, maybe in a bit it will freshen up
