ACT HDSS Clutch Disc Springs
Should they have any movement in them at all? two of them are fairly loose whilst the other two are solid......

ive seen springs pop out of any type of stock disk and spec clutch disks.

I have never had any pop out of ACT sprung clutches. Mine had movement in the springs after 8k miles of hard hard abuse with the power im making. Yeah a little movement is fine. Nothing to worry about. The ACT springs and spring housing is alot more beefier than any stock disk and most other aftermaket disks. You have nothing to worry about.

Ive emailed pictures of the clutch to ACT and they have told me the clutch I have was made when they used to outsource parts, before they made them in house.

My disc is an Exedy unit, dont know where they got their pressure plates though...

I can see no signs of the springs wanting to come out of the disc the movement is minimal.....

to me these are ''performance discs'' which IMO should be able to withstand harsh conditions without getting distroyed or at least withstand their limits that they say they are able to handle ie:300whp discs shouldnt break under 250whp no matter what the driving... thats just what think

i havent had my b15 disc in long, about 6 months) but i love it.. the jwt pp is nice too, not tooo stiff but still really bites hard, i bought my setup from someone here (cant remember who now lol) but it already had like 6-8000 miles on it, but was still in perfect condition, could even see the paint on the disc.. i drive it hard often an have had no ill effects, no slipping nothing...

ok now my stock disc.. didnt last a week without the thing cracking an the spring popping out my ve made light work of it..

your disc should be fine tho
