Thread: Anybody using eBay catback systems?

Anybody using one of these catback exhaust systems? I need something for my B14 that is inexpensive. Of coarse I would be replacing the muffler itself with something a little more stealthy.

bro, save your self the trouble and get a kit from OEM

altho 2.5 may be a little big.. maybe they can do 2.25?

170 including shipping isnt bad for just the pipes.. especialy if your gonna do your own muffler.. atho i'd get a resonator with the kit from oem.. it comes with all the hardware also

edit: the kit you posted is also 2.5"

No offense to OEM but you can get your own resonator cheaper. But I do hope to order a bare bones system from them some time.

ya but they weld a flange on so you can unbolt it when needed..

My car has a VE in it so I want 2.5". OEM includes shipping in the purchase price?

ya they include the shipping in the price honestly think about goin 3" if you have a ve.. you dont wanna make the same mistake i did.. when i get n1's im gonna upgrade to 3"

OEM is so much better than any crap on eBay. 2.5 definitely maybe 3" if you don't mind the loudness its a few more ponies.

from what i have been told the 3" isnt much louder as long as it still has a good muffler and resonator..

i have 2.5 piping w/ 18" magnaflow resonator and a 18x4x9 magnaflow muffler..

as you guys can hear it sounds nice

they started the dyno up without even commin an gettin me to let me watch.. everyone heard the first pull an went runnin.. they're like whos car is that?? whats it got in it?? i was like.. uh i think its mine? an its got a sr20ve! lol... the shop magnified the sound a little.. kinda like goin through a tunnel or over pass :P
