Thread: So I need a new air filter....

The K&N filter for my pop charger caught on fire today
I'm looking around at what options I have to replace it with. Anybody have any reccomendations?

Never used a pop,can't tecomend... but how'd it catch fire,????

Does it actually have the filtered top? My pop charger is old and the filter it came with just has the metal cap on top.


Had a nitrous backfire at the track today. Didn't hurt anything else, just blew flames out the intake causing everything to be burnt, and the filter was actually on fire lol. WAY too much nitrous pressure was the culprit. I had thought my gauge was off and found out for sure today lol.

Go with this design, JWT started shipping the flow stack in the filter, filters.

Next time I hit the dyno, I'll dyno the results

OH I get it the filter in the top part is called a flow stack lol.

Well the Pop charger it self (aluminum piece) is a flow stack, but the filter also has a new vortex like design. Check the pics out in my links, and compare it to your old filter, or whats left
