Thread: Lightest 14" wheels that will clear AD22VF NX2000 Brakes?

Ok guys I need your help.

I need the lightest 14" wheels out there. Im thinking of swapping over the RPF1 from my B14 to my NX2000 once I register it on Monday. But Im trying to avoid that. So Im thinking of getting 14" wheels or another set of RPF1s.

I searched but I only found discontinued wheels. I dont care about the color of the wheels, just as long as they are light I will be happy.

Criteria....

Fit over AD22VF calipers
Max $1500 -$1700 for a set
8 (or less) to 9lbs
4x100
35-41 offset
6" - 7" wide

I suppose NX wheels aren't that light? You'd be better off with 15s because tires are becoming more expensive for 14s than they are for 15s. Just my .02 though.

Have you checked tire rack or googled to see if you get a hit on a website that sells 14s?

Yeah I have. I find 11 pounders, 12 lb wheels. I might go with 15" if I cant find an uber light 14" wheel.

yup, they also make 6 lug TE37's for off road racing (not ralley, more like off road touring cars used in the dakar) its such a simple and extremely strong design.

id suggest searching this question on some credible honda forums and/or miata forums.

i have konig heliums, they are under 11 pounds if im not mistaken and measure 6.5 x 15

got mine for 90 a peice a while back off buyrimstoday or tirerack, one of those discount tire direct maybe

i bet you can fit a lot more rims if you grind down the caliper a bit like you have to do with the stock se-r wheels, though most sites probebly dont list the inner dia of there rims so its hard to say. im with everyone else just make it easier and get 15s

15" TE37's at 15X7 +35 are 9 lbs.

you can get as small as 13" TE37's

Miatas had a 14x6" wheel that weighed 9lbs.
