Thread: new here ,, Hello

just bought my first Nissan(honda guy here) , it has the 2.0 with a 5 speed.. I don't know alot about this car but love everything about it so far.

it needs some work and some tlc , I think I can manage to do the work on it in between my school activities and my job.

the car belonged to another member on here from what I was told but I can't remember what his screen name is, I have to go back this weekend to pick up the car, (needed an alternator) , the guy I got it from said since he bought the alternator he would throw it in for me .. I'll ask him what his screen name is then.

I think I got a good deal besides my honda just threw a rod and I had to do something fast.

dont gotta worry about throwing a rod on our engines, people go to 400 hp EASY with stock rods.

That is true, but do worry about oil starvation, that seems to kill most SR20's, other then detonation hehe.

thanks guys, I just got back from picking up my new nissan nx2000 and will post pictures when I get a chance to clean it up. I'm in the Jax area


I can tell you this so far, runs good no smoke, all stock I guess. been looking around on some upgrades and I think the pop charger is first then maybe suspension but time will tell, I plan on adding miles to it thats for sure


have some questions but will try a search it out first. tune up is what I want to do now, oil wires plugs and stuff like that in my honda I ran castrol reg
