CEL codes
I scanned my car because my CEL is on. and i don't remember the code numbers, but i looked them up using AllData. I had 4 codes total.

One was for crank angle position sensor. I have a B14 with a JGY steel flywheel. Although they advertise all of their flywheels have the correct number of teeth, i wouldn't be shocked to find out otherwise.

Another code was for EGR. B14 + VE = no egr. so how would i handle this code?

Another code was for my coolant temp sensor. But i changed that probably 2 months ago with a brand new Nissan one. So why would it still be throwing a code?

The last code was for a knock sensor. How severe is it to drive with a knock sensor code. My car still feels very strong. I guess this is the one I'm mostly worried about. (because this is an expensive sensor!)

Any advice, guidance, or info would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did you count how many teeth by any chance? Probably 109 teeth, which is a B13 flywheel.

For EGR, connect all the sensors without any pipes. Then reset the codes and see what code gets thrown. If EGR temperature sensor, then resistor patch it, there is a how to in the how to section.

As for the coolant sensor, did you make sure the wire is fine and not cut? Just double check it and make sure everything looks fine.

Lastly, I would not suggest running without a knock sensor, especially a B14. You spent a good amount of money on a VE, wouldn't it suck if detonation killed it because you didn't want to spend $150? To make it better, you can get OEM Knock sensors on ebay. For like $100 less.

Did you clear the codes after you replaced the CTS? Maybe it was still stored from before

also with a calum ecu, the knock sensor is disabled so that wont matter unless your running the stock ecu and an safc or similar. I also have the JGY steel 8.8 pound flywheel and it throws a code on mine, so ya so much for 110 teeth. JGY FTL yet again
