Thread: ECU Relay?

Hey guys. So my car has been acting up. you can look at the other thread I made to get a better idea. Fuel issues? - SR20 Forum

Now I have realized that everytime the car jerks the Green Relay that is attached to the ECU buzzes then stops and car stops jerking. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing that ?

Also just realized that the fuel pump relay is clicking as well at the same time the one by the ecu is.

The only thing I can think of, is the wiring to the relay or the relay itself. However, I never dealt with the issue. Without that relay car won't run at all.

Thats Odd. I unplugged the relay while the car was running and there was no noticable change.

Lol, now I start wondering if it would start without it? I've been messing with it on a GA16DE and I got it as far it would crank but not start.

Try checking the all of your grounds. Especially the ground to the relay and the ECU. Or try replacing the relay and drive it around to see if it does it. Just a thought.
