Thread: Some Nitrous "BOOOOM!!!!" Goodness =D

So here are some pictures of a roller rocker intake manifold blowing up into pieces from an intake backfire. Luckily he has a spare manifold. No damage to the motor. Just the manifold.


Let me explain intake backfire.... With a wet shot the fuel will sometimes puddle up in the intake and then ignite.... Leading to some sweet manifold disaster and a big fireworks show.
Happened to a friend of mine tonight.

I ended up towing his B14 SER with my SE-R 10 miles or so back home. 6 puck unsprung clutch FTW!

wow, in the first pic I thought there were towels laying around it or something. When I looked at the rest I realized that was the mani!
