I'm having trouble doing this with my clips. I figured out that i need to shave the insides down because there's a groove that doesnt let the nissan pins go through. After doing that I still can't get 2 pins in. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get them both in securely?

Yeah had the same problem. I just cut the harness and wired them in that way, much much easier!

I got them to work. Had to put a little muscle into it. They're in there now.

Back from the dead. I tried this yesterday on my 94 SE-R, and it didn't work. The Nissan pins are square, and the Subaru pins have a double half round shape on one side, that slides into a locating rail inside the connector. That connector blocks the square Nissan pin, and attempting to drill it out doesn't work. I'd like to know why it worked for some of you, and not others. I also had the same problem when I boosted my 91 NX, and had to rewire the harness using Subaru pins.

Nissan on the left - Subaru on the right

I've got new Subaru connectors with pigtails on the way, but would have preferred to just pop out the stock pins and stick 'em in the Subaru connectors. I'd still like to know what's up with some people saying it works, when it clearly doesn't.
