Thread: Pulling injector wires out of plugs

So my clips must be different then yours, these are a pain in the ass to get in. I'm having no luck getting the new clips on :/

take a pic of the plug

the pins only go in one way so they will clip. Try both ways one way will work the other wont. the flattest part of the pin will be the part that the black clip snaps into when you insert it into the connector. It will work, Worked for me and worked for several others.

i think i got some aftermarket clips or something. there grey. and came with fresh harness wires.

if you can take a pic of it i should be able to tell or show you

can you get a photo of the pins, its looks like a aftermarket plug but still looks like it has the orange insert

orange insert is just rubber. the injector doesnt actually "click" in the plug either.

I was about to recommend you just get real Subaru clips.
