RR head
I just got a head off of an 02 g20. it has the Rolling rockers and all that. Is there any modification that i have to do to it for it to work properly on my 96 200sx block? Another thing is will my valve cover work? i dont know if there's a difference.
Thanks

no, your non rr valve cover will not work, you need the rr valve cover and yes it will work

The 96 VC will work if you use the 96 intake manifold, but if I remember correctly, it won't work with the RR intake manifold.

I've got a 91-99 VC on my RR head right now, and I had one on the old RR motor in my old car too. It works.

The non-RR VC WILL fit, I have a Highport VC on my RR w/ a lowport I.M.
It fits just fine.

I don't know if that works. I don't see why not though.

wait the rr head is lowport as well.
all these controdicting answers. lol
valve cover fits or no?
And i'm asking if it will work cause i can tell on my old head there was the baffle plate and the oil squirters so i didn't know if there would be a lubrification issue.

p.s. my old head has wear on the cam guides and some valves were stickin a bit. (when i went to take a few of valves out for cleaning, there were tuns of resistance. in comparison of the others just sliding out)
