That's a great idea! You can also use tape that used to be used to wrap 10-speed handlebars. Do they still make that??

of cousre they do...i used slazenger tennis overgrip.black,

See guys you just need a shifter cozy. I even throw a towel over my Momo wheel when its too hot outside.

nice use of a skateboard truck, i think you could use a sway bar endlink bushing to.. which actually makes me think you could use the sway bar endlink bushing as a truck bushing an vice versa

actually that crossed my mind. but the one i had (random es stocked at autozone) the outside diamater was to large to not look stupid in the boot.

a few months ago my new exhaust was sliding around on one of the hangers and banging right under the driver seat under HARD cornering, super annoying so i slaped some of those bushings on there as a spacers and works great so far.
