Take a look at this PDF. It's a headache, but it's the only way to find out everything connected. It might be a tricky problem.

So after we found out that a 75A fuse was blown we replaced it but now the radio is back but still even after we changed the alternator it still dies when you remove the pulse off the battery when the car is already started. usually this would mean your alternator but can it really be the alternator?

The METER 10A fuse still continues to blow out.

I have removed the cluster disconnected it, still blow out.
Replaced the 75A fusible link, still blow
Replaced Alternator 2nd time, still blows & still dies after car is started taking the pulse off the battery.

When does the METER fuse blow?
Right as you turn the key into ACC.

Please help!

if you think it's the alt, just take it off and to an auto parts store to be tested. If it tests good, then it helps us alot more as far as narrowing down where a problem could be. It's tough to diagnose this problem when the alternator hasn't been tested. Also, what brand alternator is it? There's a few I know of that just suck in general.

do you have an aftermark cd player in? If so take it out and try then.

Speaking from experience?

On a more serious note, is the negative terminal from the battery grounded to the chassis, then to the motor? I just saw a very similar issue on a guys car this weekend, car wouldn't even start. His ground to chassis for battery wasn't even connected. This blew his 75A fusible link, and the 7.5A engine control fuse.

CD Player : Panasonic CQ-C1301U (I Believe)

Panasonic CQ-C1301U Support and Service Information

Alarm System: VISION (The Alarm Box is Blue)

Also the Alternator was tested at Kragen & AutoZone (altho when tested in the car it only gave 11.2 but tested at Kragen it gave a between 13 - 15 volts.)

Either they machines suck or i have no clue. Any ideas?

Good call. If you ever install an aftermarket deck, NEVER i repeat NEVER hook up the orange "illumination" wire. It causes nothing but problems, and does nothing anyway.

Just to let you know the car will start up, but only if the battery has enough power to do so, since the METER fuse is not working, im guessing its the reason why it wont charge the battery. so when you use the battery i have to disconnect it.

you might want to get under the car and see if any wires were torn by the driver axle. the VSS wire routes along that area and if it was caught on the axle, it'll short and cause that meter fuse to blow.
