Nx2000 rotor rust
Do they make nx2000 rotors that don't rust near the center of the rim?

Is there away to prevent this without painting it?

That HOW TO is painting the rotor. He said he didn't want to paint it. OP: Simple answer, no there is not a way to prevent your rotors from rusting outside of paint. I do not believe there are any rotors that are made of a stainless steel. My guess is the stainless steel doesn't handle high heat like basic steel can. You could use black paint that matched your wheels and it shouldn't stand out.

Your lug nuts are more offensive than the rotors....

You might be able to chrome them. Chrome isn't paint. =]
Also high temp powder coat might also be an option.
You could always treat it like a cast iron pan and season it with some lard in an oven at 425°F (most directions say 350°F and that's a sham). Not sure how long that would hold up to the heat of everyday braking. It might.
