Try a plug patch, they should hold up better than just a patch, but like others said, they do change shape quite a bit. Also, do you want to have it blow out on you when you are near the end of the run? Safety is always #1

Yeah the hole is pretty small but it loses air really quick. I don't want to use that tool to plug patch it because i dont wanna open it up bigger. That tool is pretty big. I'll just save up to get a new one i guess.

i would try a patch and see what happens, see how well it holds up. i know the ones i used to use hold pretty damn well.... it cant hurt. always got my slicks as a back up...

Patches are pretty flexible, They sell different type for different applications. Get the smallest softest one and you shouldn't have a problem.


I actually put a plug on my BFG-s and never had a problem, at 12 psi.
