Cleaning Windshield?? - Hard Water Stains + Scratches
Hey,

Whenever the sun shines on my windshield, I can see all of the, what I assume to be, hard water stains and fine scratches all over my windshield. This drastically cuts down my visibility and I was wondering if anyone has some recommendations for cleaning up my windshield from the rain and scratches? Has anyone did this before? With our cars getting close to 20 years old I'd guess a lot of us have this same issue.

Thanks!

yes ,,,,, for hard water stains or acid rain spots ., this works Very well!!

Bon Ami click on uses ,, scroll down to windows

I recommend to use it only on the outside of the glass (automobile)

as for your scratches,,,, you can buff the glass and it will clear up some minor scratches ,, but if there deep,,,, theres no hope!

I've put up w/it like this for over 2 years, it's not to the point that I would buy a new one. I just want to get it as clean as I can. Just getting all the water stains off it would make a big difference.

Trizact 3000 on a dual action sander, then polish with a buffer if needed. Most glass shops should be able to do it for you.

Also eastwood has a glass cleaning, and polishing kit. Glass Polishing Kit Pro

I'd imagine that it's a two step process. Cleaner first, then polishing cleaner next?
