i've done 3 swaps, all going in/out the top and i NEVER removed the tranny.. i always took it out an put it in with the tranny on.. seems easier to me unless you have a lift or some way to raise the car high enough to get the engine out from the bottom.. check out my project thread, i got pics of how i did my last swap

WHAT THE F**K??? SO this is how you did it without me knowing..i guess thats why you never asked me any of this u punk... nah but i'll bring those tools tomorrow and we'l finish up.

I took mine out the top, but when i put it in i did it through the bottom. I just painted the engine bay and you have to angle it perfect from the top or you would scratch the **** out of it

Why are you guys pulling trannys and disconnecting motor mounts from the cross-members? Drop it all connected out the bottom. Oh, and push the wiring harness from inside the cabin out into the engine bay so you don't have to disconnect the difficult to reach connectors.

its seriously so much easier, ive done a bunch of honda swaps with my buddies and laugh at how easy it is to get this motor in and bolt it up. esp from the bottom you can to the side mounts to hold the motor and trans and work on the rest
