rod choices
ok im not one to cheap out especialy on vital engine parts. and i have always believed in you get what you pay for.
but i ran across these today and i wanted to know what you guys thinkabout them. im not really looking to buy them.

they look just like eagle rods. (and that is what i plan on using)

and it says they come with arp rod bolts and you can pay an extra $40 to get upgraded arp bolts.

kinda do look like eagle rods, i would def get the arp rod bolts, im running the eagle rods and arp rod bolts

they sell for $249 and if you add the extra $40 for arp rod bolts than that is $290, which is only $40 shy of a set of eagle rods. might as well just pay the extra and get the trusted brand. right?

yea that is what i would say, since its so close to the actual price of eagle rods. now if it was like 150.00 less then those rods might be worth it.

what kinda pistons are you going with? what kinda machining are you looking to do on the piston and rods?

im guna runa VET pistons, eagle rods and metal VE hg. i am guna have the block honed, and have the full rotation assembly spun balanced. i am debating on whether or not to use main studs though.
