I have an obx straight pipe/resonator the exact length of the cat to replace it. that brings the resonator count up to 3 after the VE and before the muff (hee hee muff...) not so environmentally friendly, but at least it keeps the cop flies away

My stock B13 SE-R cat is 12.25" long, including flanges.

IIRC I've seen a few guys run a crotchrocket muffler where the stock cat is on some cars. Gives them a pretty distinct note, sounds pretty damn good and quiet!

Correction - 12.5" - it's an old cat, well rusted, and one side where I first measured is warped a bit. It is about 6-1/8" wide.
I also measured another cat I have in much better condition, magnaflow I think.
It is 12.5" long, about 6-1/8" wide.
