Car Shuts Off B14
hey guys recently while driving my car shuts down and wont start. the warning lights on the cluster die and when they light back up the car will start. any ideas wtf is going on???

its like somebody flips a kill switch and the car dies.....

while driving the car shuts down, radio stays on but the motor dies all the lights on the cluster go out and the car will not start until they are back on. if i turn the key the motor turns but no start????????????????

cars parked turns over and will not start, all cluster warning lights are out

^^^ if the car didnt start or had a weak start i could see that, but it just shuts down...i may have found the problem i just need to see if it shuts off

Make sure your battery terminals are clean and tight as well.

Check your ground that bolts to the thermostat housing too.

and to the back of the intake manifold as well, there should be 2.

still havent found it, ill check those grounds ASAP, its just the motor that shuts down the radio and everything else stays on

i have had this happen on a buddies 97 SE-R, there was a corroted connection that went to the positive battery terminal that would just lose connection out of nowhere, check the red plug that goes to the positive battery terminal.

^^^ but its not like everything dies its just the motor.but i will replace my terminals
