Here is an S13 SR20 swap I did into my buddy Drake's 87 corolla coupe. Thing ran really really strong spinning all the way through 3rd gear. Car weighed sub 2000 lbs. Working cable speedo into the factory cluster even though it was really really far off using the early s13 mechanical speedo gear, Corolla cable fit right in exact match. He later wired in a monster tach as the factory tach cannot accept the s13 tach signal.
All in all, it was a really really easy swap and ran hard.

I love the corolla. Id have another if they were priced for what they were. I see junk rustbuckets going for almost 5 grand in my area....never happen

I would love to drop a SR20 into my BMW 2002. Even a NA. It's been done a few times before. The problem is that the intake and exhaust manifolds of the SR are the opposite of the BMW M10 engine. Also the brake booster and master cylinder would have to be relocated. The 2002 also uses a steering box, not rack and pinion. So that would need to be addressed as well.
