Thread: Radiator fans not turning on

Waiting on a quote from Greg on a VE..

Will that fix the gauge problem?

is a thermister the same as a temp sending unit?

if so, I've replaced it.

will a b13 gauge work on a b14?

That still doesn't explain why the fans are not kicking in at all and why does the temp gauge stay up with the foot brake on. I'm going to try and track the problem down tonight.

I "think" with a VE swap I can start fresh.

update.....

Car is not overheating and the fans do work..

Used a Consult, Fans kicked in at 212 deg. but the gauge was on the H. Definitely need either a new temp gauge or a sending unit or just get a aftermarket one.
