jen36 are you really over heating. i would start the car with the radiator cap off and let it warm up and watch the gauge. if it creeps up high and your antifreez is not really boiling over then your cluster gauge is prob jacked up. i had the same issue. it read super hot but i could still stick my finger in my antifreez
jen36 you're right... I had the car Idling with the cap off... never boiled over, but the gauge read hot..
I noticed two things when I took it out for a drive a few minutes ago..
It was reading normal, I tuned on my headlights and the gauge jumped up towards hot, immediately, when I pulled into the driveway, I had my foot on the brake, shut the car off and the needle climbed all the way to H.... let my foot off the brake and it went down all the way. I must have some sort of electrical problem.
any suggestions?
