Thread: Oil filter question

What size oil filters do ve's use?
Same as which us car?

i'm using the larger (longer) nissan filter on mine.

which was designed for what vehicle (so I can go to the local store and pick up some)

95 200sx (SE-R obviously)is what I usually use for the part#,but any lowport DE motor will work.
Actually I got some filters from gregV for my VE and my 4.0 Frontier.The filters are the same thread and diameter,but slightly longer.
I am gonna use them on my VE soon,so I can just buy one filter for both vehicles.It will also give me slightly more filtration,I would think.

So if you get the filter for an 05 and up Frontier or Pathfinder 4.0L,it will fit and be slightly longer.

Filter from my 3.5 Pathfinder 2003 fits the 97 SE-R
about an inch longer.
