Thread: castrol edge & purolator

So i decided to give the castrol edge 5w30 a whirl combined with the purolator pure one filter...well so far so good...

not saying much seeing as im used to filling syntec with a fram filter...

my drive was short lived however seeing as i made it down the driveway then went back up once i realized the tread was starting to separate on one of my tires so it was the altima for the night...startup was alot smoother however than usual...especially since last time i changed my oil i decided to run quaker sludge

by any chance is the edge a true group IV oil? i couldnt make much of the threads on BITOG...figgured it was

update! drives great!...i recommend this over the syntec...over all the car feels a bit smoother...so on an d so forth...oil pressure is instant with the purolator over the fram!

which syntec weight were you using?

oh and definitely anything over fram.

I was using syntec 5w30 it worked good but not like this and yeah fram sucks
