They're integrated on the 14's, plus he can't even get it to crank. Good thought though, since I just found what that was on the b13 engine I just got, good to know it goes bad.

Starting Problem *FIXED*
Check Engine Light Gone?... Might come back?

Starter or Solenoid my dad took it out went to autozone they put it on the tester and it PASSED the 1st time then he tried it 3 more times and it all FAILED.

So the Starter or Solenoid was the problem.

Been replaced with "Duralast Import / Starter"

AutoZone.com | | Starter | REMAN IMPORT STARTER - AutoZone URL

I'll post a video up later today how it starts.

Glad to hear it. Figured that was probably the issue, seemed like the starter just wasn't working as strong anymore in that first video. Do you know what your CEL was for?

And it continues!...

So even after the starter has been replaced it dont want to start up again.

it happened just now i went to the store and when i got back into the car i turned it on and i started hearing something from my car whatever it was i thought it was the other guys car.. but then realized it was mine.. So i rushed it home. turned it off went back to the car and it would not start but this time you can hear the car trying to start (sounding like a vacuum?)

I posted a video of this on TinyPic.

I hope it's not a serious problem....

sounds like the starter isn't even engaging on the flywheel. When you started it the last time, what kind of noise did you hear? I'm thinking you've got missing teeth on the flywheel, and now it's stuck there and the starter has nothing to grab...

well... i don't know whats going on but i had the starter replaced like i don't know 3 times and now this is the problem i have.

Some grinding when the car starts. (funny thing is it didn't do that until one of those starters was put on it)

Here is the most up-to-date video of the car starting up... im at a lost and im afraid my life has ended...

well from that video the starter sounds ok. what has happened to me before is when i had replaced a starter, i thought i had bolted it in tight, but when i went to start it , it started to grind, turns out the 2 12 mm bolts that hold it to the bellhousing werent tight.

i was able to slide the starter in & out. don't know if that is the problem now, but you did say it started right after you had the starter replaced, no?

any shims come with that starter? sounds to me like it needs to be shimmed on one side or the other.

Just to clear things up... this is how everything started.

Car Starting Up (Video 1) Video Starting With the OEM Starter from Nissan. (Which didn't work anymore)

So we go to AutoZone pick up this starter (AutoZone.com | | Starter | REMAN IMPORT STARTER)

After that it ran for about 1 day the next day it wouldn't start & would make a vacuum like sound (which is this video here)
Car Starting With New Starter From AutoZone Part 1 (Video 2)

So we went to AutoZone again to get a replacement it started up fine but then you hear grinding noise when it starts.
Which is this video Grinding Video Sound Part 2 (Video 3).

So we go to AutoZone again and get another one and what do you know some problem with grinding?!...
Which is this video Grinding Video Sound Part 2 (Video 3) (Same As Above).

(Just wanted to Clear things up if anyone was confused.. (Also my dad was saying that he's going to put that V-Brace thing on that he removed from the 1st Nissan OEM starter.)

He believes that it's suppose to hold it in place or something? i don't know but he wanted it off...

Anyone know what happened? (did autozone's bullcrap starters kill my flywheel or something?)

(By the way, I read about the shim stuff dont know about it tho...???? if its some kinda tool your suppose to get then no i don't have it.)
