Nissan Sentra 1997 wont start?
Hi i have a Nissan Sentra 1997 that will not start, it was working fine i went to the gas station put gas in it and now it wont start and its been there since yesterday. So far the car has new battery, new alternator (was replaced a few months ago), water pump, new Blower Motor Resistor, new spark plugs, new Distributor Cap & Rotor/Ignition when you try to start the car it wont even crank it does not even try to start.

The battery is not even 2 weeks old, and had it recharged and tested at autozone. (Lights, Radio etc working)

I'm thinking it's the starter but i want to be sure...

Thank You For The Help!

there is no movement from the engine at all no starting up sounds.

As for the clicks, when i put the key in and turn it to 3 (Starting the Car) you can hear like 2 tick sounds but i do not know if its the starter sound or just the sound it makes when you turn the key.

But here's a video of the car before it wouldn't start.

I would check the switch on the clutch pedal if it is a manual transmission. They are notorious for failing.
I got a great deal on a nx because of that switch once...lol

It's a "Auto Transmission".

your starter ddnt sound too healthy in that video, have someone turn the key while you take a hammer to the starter and give it a few wacks , if the starter is bad it should start the egine when you wack it

While I agree, I'd recommend whacking it then starting it. Unless you're jacking the car up a decent amount off the ground (which I doubt if it's in a gas station lot), it's not worth taking the chance of getting caught on something

check your power transister. its a sensor that should be on the top right hand corner of your valve cover if your standing in front of the car. i dont know if they moved it in the b14s or whatever but on 91 to 94 b13 thats where they are. they go out without any warning. mine went out and the car would just turn over and over and over and no fire. change that sensor and it fired right up. check to see if you have spark or not 2
