Thread: Rad fans required with an electric WP?

Are they really needed with all that extra cooling?........(on a track car).

Pls discuss.

Fans are for sitting still or when temps are to high for air flow to cool them. I doubt you will reach that point on a track car if you have a Koyo radiator and the electric pump, but on a stock radiator, even with electric pump you will want the fans.

why not have the extra cooling, even if ya didnt think ya needed it

what happens while in the pits? at warm up? caution laps?

i would put a single 12....at least a 10inch pusher fan on and wire it to a switch, then you can pick and choose when it comes on. its way to easy and cheap not to do it.
