I don't want another ACT clutch regardless. I'm going Competition, and last I heard ACT had a 90 day warranty because I tried it with my disk and there was nothing that could be done. Now if for some reason they do, I still will just sell it if I get it lol

I have only had spring issues on the SS discs. When talking 6puc, I would opt for the unsprung hub. Less chance to pop springs and grabs like a mofo.

thats not really true, i mean it depends on how you drive, i have had sprung and unsprung and if you feather the throttle on both they both have semi harsh engaugements, the unspring is slightly more rough however feathering the throttle with the engaugment is the trick.

it depending seems like you were choosing a clutch that is underrated for your application, i ALWAYS go with a overrated clutch kit, say my goal is 350whp go for a clutch that can handle 550whp. its like anything else if you want more power its there and can handle it, but not the case in a underated clutch kit

That's true, but this thing is also my DD. I can't have something to ridiculous to use. I figured a 6 puck would do fine... maybe not? and my Hp is not that any longer. That was with 20lbs of boost and bad w/g. I'm now on 16lbs, and I even turned it down the day before the clutch went out because my duty cycle was ridiculous. And it still went out haha.

well i also would like to recomend the clutchmasters fx300 carbon kevlar i had a turbo b16 and it held really nice, it held alot of power while not effecting daily driving, now depending on if you get a heavy duty or extreme pressure plate and mate it to the carbon kevlar disc, that will determine the pedal pressure, but even so , clutch engaugment is nice with the kevlar

I don't think I have enough cash for the clutchmasters sadly. I'm hoping the pressure plate is still fine, so all I need is a new disk. I'm gonna get the flywheel resurfaced also because it had some chatter, I think being caused by it.
