Highport fuel rail help
Trying to get my rail on the manifold, but no matter how much I try and how many times i put it on, the mounting holes never fully align with the taps in the manifold. It's always just a little bit too far left.

Bear in mind, this is the first highport engine I've done work on, so I'm not to keen on the injector and intake stuff yet. But, seeing as I need this car running, I need all the help i can get

try turning the fuel rail around, so that u hook up the fuel lines on the flywheel side of the engine.

It's hard to tell in the pictures, are you using the plastic spacers?

Even if he had the spacers if you look at where the FPR is at its on the wrong side. The return is right by where the throttle cable goes. It cant be a highport rail thats the only explanation I could go with.

Again, my first dive into highports. I know a lowport head like the back of my hand, but this is the first I've seen in person of a highport. That would make sense if it were the wrong rail......

Then, the question is, what is that rail for?

I am, but without the bolts in, there's nothing to hold them in place

^You need the plastic spacers, or some kind of spacer for sure. I can show you what they look like.

^Here they are. The top spacers. They are hard plastic, not rubber.

^I tell you what bruh, I'll take a pick of my freshly painted highport rail so we can compare.

^Also, I think I see thermal spacers. That might have something to do with it. I didn't click on the pic to make it bigger at first.

Have those. Just not on in picture. My issue isn't with the distance off of the mounting holes, it's with the lateral direction of the rail. It sits just a smidge too far right, probably about 4mm too far.
