then may i send you searching for a "choaderboy" thread. he started a thread on this very subject ~3-4, maybe 5 yrs ago now, on the other forum. very informative. jwt c6m cams and all.
of course you know that hitting that whp goal is much less expensive with a VE, but we won't go there

good luck bro,

i love my S4s, the idle is sweet. and they drop straight in and make good power, wait for the meet and ask around. ill take you for a ride in my car so u can get a feel for the cam

check out my set up, i made decent power with my S4s and boltons

also if ur lookin for na power id say VE is the way to go by the time u mod the DE your at VE budget

but to get the most our of the ve your still spending a good ammount of money. Its a whole lot easier with the ve but its like everything else you always want more and that takes more money.

Go with a VE. I had a modded DE, and it does not compare to my VE/DE mutt. Even with the stock SR20VE cams my G20 put down 186whp.

VEs can be had for about 800 now too...a good way to go especially since when you cam those your options go sr16 ,n1 or like franklin cams plus from what ive heard the heads flow better

If you can fund the VE then do it. If not S4 cams or GTFO ------------>

Here are the dyno data plotted in Excel that compare my S3s with a 60mm exhaust to the same set up with a 2.5" system. Runs were on the same Dyno Dynamics machine a couple weeks apart. We always correct for the temp, humidity, etc. at the time of the run.

I've got C2's in mine, I'm glad I don't have to drive it everyday...town driving really is a pain, Constantly riding the clutch trying not to buck along. The lopey idle is abit of a novelty while stationery but when your moving from the lights at 2krpm just to keep with traffic, you look abit of a tool.

If you really rely on your car as a daily I'd get S4s, you can still live with them and you get great results.

^ you could try richening up the idle and the range from stop to where you start bucking that would probably smooth out the cams some and stop the bucking, also have you checked your air fuels any? or is this still on stock ecu or what? i know when i had a rich to lean spots in my bottom end, like 0-2k it would go from rich to lean and it would causae the bucking, personally i dont think its the cams that are causing the bucking, could be it has a lean spot, or that your aac valve might be opening and closing cuasing you to buck
