S3's are probably your best bet. You don't loose any low end, and gain top end. BC2's are sluggish on a daily down low with stock cam gears, ask me how I know lol. They are a little better than S3's up top though. They feel like S4's up top.

I would say that the S3 has an edge on the S4 down low till about 4500K-5k or so. Then the S4's will pull away up top. You loose a little on the S4 vs the S3 down low, but not enough to make them for like BC2's. BC2's crawl down low on a N/A car. Now if you rev and go, then all the cams wow.

SO if I am spending 560 on a JWT cam do you recommend the S3 over the S4 or is the difference down low not enough to care about

^Well the S4's have a lobey idle and a lot of people don't like that on a daily car. It depends on all that the car will be used for. The difference down low is not enough to feel like it is crawling. I'll try to find the dyno on the old forum of the two vs stock cams and you can see the below 4k and above 4k differences. Maybe superblackz will see this this thread and post them up.

higher profile cams are going to focus on gains for higher rpm, lower profile cams with higher duration are going to be better for lower to mid range power gains, so unless you plan on going for high rec i say stay away from anything over a 'stage 2' cam
