Let us know how Auto-RX does .

I've noticed that my German Castrol is pretty dark after about 500 miles. This is interesting, because it looks like it cleaned up the stained metal inside.

+2 on using Auto-RX.
I have it in my BMW 330Ci, the bimmer guys swear by it. Visit their website and read up on the short-interval dose; you can do some major cleaning in 1,000 miles or less. The trick is to make trips of 20-30 minutes in the process; it's the constant short drives of 5-10 miles each that lead a lot of engine to get sludgy.

I also have a dose of Auto-RX in my B13's transmission. A fluid change is upcoming and I figured it could only help. Another dose goes in the BMW's automatic in about 1 month.

Good stuff.

My VE was almost as bad and it ran until I dropped it out and cracked it open. I could post the dyno and a few pics of the dis-assembled block/head from my B13 w/ VE but it was 182/139 on HSwaiPOP/SR16 cams/fuji/Megan and it got high 30s mpgs hwy and flew through emissions. It pinged exactly once in heavy traffic in July and only consumed crappy Royal purple oil.

Yours should be really aok. Espsecially with some tlc. From what I've seen only total morons lunch these motors under normal circumstances.

it helped in my tranny. i had a leaking driver side axle seal and didn't want to replace it. so i through some auto-rx in and after the cycle no leak. stuff is great.

i dont think its bad enough to be taking back or replacing the engine, i think if you get ahold of the problem now, and start addressing it, it will be fine

Iv opened several ve engines here, not one of them had as much as a stain in them. i serviced every 4-5 thousand kms, and put 260000 km on my old n1 before i got rid and it was as clean under the vc as the day it left the factory. what kind of oil do ye guys have over there is it refined at all???

if not, tear it apart and rebuild it with high comp pistons!!

GUYS for the LAST time I DID one just ONE oil change on it since i got it a few months ago.....OK! I never opened the valve cover until now, so I wasn't the one that caused the sludge and its not as bad as it looks. After cleaning it , it looks 100% better and once i run that rx stuff through it a few times change the oil every 500-1k with dino it should end up looking brandnew!!

BTW even in that condition that car ran its azz off!!
