I'm intimately familiar with two '94 SE-Rs and neither of them are OBDII. I don't believe any B13s are OBDII. Switch was made for the '95 model year.

As for this injector harness, I don't see why you can't just re-use that section of the '93 harness? Is it not long enough or something? Is it too long? In either case, just shorten or lengthen it yourself...
Or are you dealing with an entire '94 engine harness but don't have the injector sub-harness? In that case, just get yourself one. I might even have one laying around from a '99 lowport.

The 94 engine harness plugs into a seperate injector harness. The 94 injector harness includes the 4 injector connections plus the knock sensor plug. On the 93 engine harness their is no seperate injector harness. My reluctance to just use the 93 harness without modification is that I might run into vibration wear or heat damage further down the line. I'm thinking the best way to go would be the factory placement of the injector harness on the 94 motors.

I can source a plug locally from a pull it yard. There are a few low port g20's to pick from. I just wanted to get an idea of what other people have done in this situation. I'll post pics of what I decide to do in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure somebody down the line will put a 94 motor into a 93 Chassis.

Well I've decided just to pull my 94 harness from my crunched car. I went to the pull it yard and the G20 low port harness has extra connectors. I didn't want to mess with it.

I wanted to keep the harness in the 94 as it would help out the next owner, but oh well sometimes you have to change the plan.

Well everybody I'm in the middle of a low port into a 92 NX2k. I wanted to update because I will be using my 94 ecu harness. What I have discovered is that it is not a direct swap into the 91-92 chassis. I'm not sure about the 93's as I know that they had a seperate wiring scheme.

There is a plug right by the main ecu connecter(big blue connector). Well this plug is known as F14 in the FSM. It is supposed to plug into M52 on the dash electrical harness.

On the 94 models this is an 8 pin plug. On the 91-92 models this is a six pin plug.

What I'm going to do is either cut and solder a 6 pin plug into my 94 ecu harness or possibly try to find a 8 pin to 6 pin adapter at radio shack.

This connection has three wires. A blue/black strip wire ( not used), solid white, and a black/red stripe wire. The black/red and white wires are used in the ignition circuit.

I'll update again if I encounter any other differences worth mentioning.

What I'm doing is 94 harness from ECU to Engine. THe rest of the engine bay I intend to use the 92 harness.

So the motor finally sits in my 93 Se-R shell. After some confusion (I started to put the motor into my NX, but then changed my mind), the motor is running and after three years of just sitting lifeless my Se-R shell is back in business .

To summarize. I took the engine from my crunched 94 and swapped it into my 93 Shell. I kept the 94 ECU harness, and used the 93 engine bay harness( Harness that goes from the battery to the starter). For the most part its a plug and play swap.

There is connector on the 93 harness near the injectors that is left unused. It is connector E101 in the FSM. The connector for the IACV-FICD solenoid has to be repositioned. If left bolted in place the 93 harness is not able to reach. Other then those two connectors you just have to get creative with zip ties because the 93 harness is not intended to be strapped in place on the low port motor.

One thing that I did run into that I commented about in the previous posts. The 91-92 models have a 6 pin connector for F14. The 93-94's have an 8 pin connector for F14. Using the 94 ECU harness is easier on the 93's. If somebody wanted to drop a 94 lowport into a 91-92 chassis they would have to do something about connection F14.

Also I'm using the 93 ECU. From just idling the car runs smooth with the 93 ECU. If I run into any problems using a 93 Ecu to run a 94 Lowport I'll update.
