They don't make anything for turbo do they. I loved the 0-30 GC in my VE. All the reports on BITOG and my UOA said its more like a 0-40. I am actually running some in my boosted car now but I think its too thin. It was my Winter oil. ... oh well.

There isn't a 20-50 version is there?

Well all of you helpful folks can rest assured. The SINGLE and ONLY Auto Zone in Maine was my destination after work today. I was able to pick up five quarts of 0W-30 German Castrol, with a Mobil 1 filter for $43 after tax.

I am interested to see if this slightly thicker oil will help against my moderate oil consumption problem I have recently been experiencing. I am also intently going to monitor how this affects valve train noise, as I already feel like it is present with the Mobil 1 10W-30.

Ha I see now, how's the cold weather?

I'm thinking about trying Valvoline and seeing how it does before I shell out another $40 on GC hehe

Sweet! Yeah i went in on Monday to get the special and looked around to find nothing of the sort.

I actually went ahead and did the change today. I am going to try buying the oil on sale waiting a week or so and returning it with my receipt that i paid $7 a qrt for? Would that work?
