yep, i have a friend that works on the local airport and he could get me the jet fuel for a real cheap price every friday

í´m planing to mix 2ltrs of jet fuel with a 1/2 tank of premium gas

You do NOT want to run JET fuel in your car..... jet fuel is just highly refined kerosene...... Aviation fuel is just very high octane fuel... not quite the same as auto fuel but very close.... I have run 1/2 tank of prem fuel with 2 or 3 gallons of Aviation fuel..

If you do choose to add jet fuel to your gas please post vids...

Definately post vids. I think the name is enough to steer people away from using 'Jetfuel' in a piston engine.

i think i´m getting confused with the terms

the jet fuel its the one that it´s used on a plane? or that one it´s the aviation fuel??

here in mexico it´s called "gas avion" and it´s the one that is used on a plane its a 110 octane fuel.

JET FUEL ---- used in TURBINE JET engines (no real octane rating)

Aviation fuel ----- used in PISTON driven prop engines(approx 110 octane)

JET ENGINE= JET FUEL..... DO NOT RUN THE FUEL THAT GOES IN THIS ENGINE.. THIS PIC WAS TAKEN ON A TEST RUN IN THE TEST CELL WITH JET FUEL.... Pratt & Whitney F-100 engine....... should make for a good low 10second car and I hear they pull a premeum before race wars.... lol

i mean you can run higher oct gas, but unless you are tuned for it, the gains are really going to be minimal compared to if you are tuned for the higher oct gas

GT2871RBLUBIRD i mean you can run higher oct gas, but unless you are tuned for it, the gains are really going to be minimal compared to if you are tuned for the higher oct gas

i was planing to turn up the boost a couple of psi using the aviation fuel, mi ecu its ajwt programed for premium mexican gas.
