My nitrous kit needs more pressure than the motor itself. I need to be able to change back and forth.

Care to elaborate? This is a wet kit, or dry kit? What method of fuel delivery are you using with the nitrous?

From what you've told me, it sounds like you drive around with stock fuel pressure, then when you plan on shooting nitrous you stop, open the hood, adjust the FPR to higher fuel pressure, get back in and then spray the bottle?

Yeah that's the basic idea thus far. It's a direct port wet kit, 100 shot. I've got a walbro 190 pump, and the line is t'd under the hood to feed the nitrous setup. I drag race the car, and just need the fuel pressure to stay where I put it lol. What I REALLY need is to buy an electric fuel pressure gauge, so that I can monitor the pressure in the car, instead of having to pop the hood.

i would go with a mechanical fuel pressure gauge yeah there are a few draw backs, but personally i like mechanical gauges esp to monitor things like oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost ect

So you run oil and fuel lines into your car?

Yeah, that right there is why I prefer electrical. The electrical sensor you put on the engine has a higher risk of failing, but they're so easy to replace that it's almost a non-issue. Definitely prefer doing that rather than pulling more fluids through the firewall and risking leak, temperature, or pressure issues. One less thing to worry about IMO.

Why would you want a fuel pressure gauge in the ****pit, especially if you have a mech FPR.

I like my Mech Oil pressure gauge, with steel braided lines it's not bad, and very reliable, but is pricey.

LOL yeah just be sure you have the fittings tight on the lines or you could get alot of oil in your interior in a hurry. Ask me how i know.

I still prefer mechanical gauges besides fuel pressure i wouldnt like having an incident with fuel inside the car. The oil really wasnt that bad. I have mecanical oil temp, water temp, oil pressure and boost in my car and some additional elec. gauges.
