Thread: Nissan NX2000 USDM vs European

Hi

I wanna know what are the differences between the NX2000 for the US market and the EU market? One for sure is that in the US you have the 9.5:1 SR20 and here it's the 10:1 SR20 , but I need to know if there are any other differences. I will be checking a USDM NX2000 these days , so it will be very kind if you share some more info .

Mine has some weird daytime running lights. I can start the car in neutral with the clutch out. That's all I can think of right now off hand.

Yes , I saw on the pics that there are some DRLs on the sides of the car. It says that it is manual transmission (I hope it is really , because I am not after an auto). Thanks man.

The headlight on the Euro cars are better, and the have a switch to adjust them from inside the car. Us headlights are manual adjust only and suck.

Had some of these...they are a great upgrade on the US cars...

Also the radio antenna on the EDM cars is on the passenger apillar instead of the fender.Also dont have sidemarkers in the beltline moulding like the USDM cars,since there are running lights in the front fenders.

I am more interested in the technical/engine differences , because I will buy the car for a turbo project.The 9.5:1 CR engine is better because in my country the gas quality is bad. Is it possible to do a conversion to power windwos if I find a ones from another NX ?

All US SR20 NX's came with a 9.5:1 CR engines, unless it was swapped out for something else.

Yea I have a pair as well . Not only that but the glass and light itself is higher quality and lights the road up better.

how the hell does that work?
