Thread: no dr side axle

well i dont know how but my driver side axle feel apart.. the question is will i have power still or will it feel like my clutch is slipping because thats what it feels like. i never broke my axle so i dont know? does lsd matter? my speedo works if i rev it..

how did it fall apart? you were driving and it just crumbled?

What you're describing sounds exactly like a broken axle. The car won't move even with LSD.

the "C clamp" {sorry forgot the name of it} fell off and it became a 2 peice axle

ahh the whole cv joint came apart...time for a new one. keep the old one to return as a core

i have a buddy that has a new one for me for 25bux and i dont have to wait since they have to order.. man and i thought it was the clutch that i just put in a week ago

put everything back together with new axle and its back to normal.. i was worried

Naw, clamp probably been off long enough for dirt to get in there and replace the grease, once grease is gone it causes heat which makes it brittle and the end result is that they break/crumble up.
