Thread: so i bought a 99 sentra a few weeks ago..

and after finally finding a diagram to see what the VIN means i found out that it was made in mexico and has the SR20DE inside as well. however i have been unlucky trying to find production statistics on these cars as well as just information on it (besides wiki).

what sparked my interest is the autozone website it says apparently 5% of all 99 sentras have the sr20 in them and i am curious if there is actually any numbers to look at for all this jazz.

is it a 200sx, i believe that statistic is correct, i remember seeing that like 5% of b13s were se-r

nah its a 4 door sentra, in 99 they made all the 2 door sentras into 200sx's.

its also an se-limited.

200sx's stopped production in 1998. So the only SR20 car from Nissan was the Sentra SE/SE-L. G20 too if you include Infinity.

Yea, '99 Sentra SE Limited ... I have one in an Auto. ... And my Track car '98 Sentra SE .... Both are SR20DE cars ..
