Buying the site back doesn't seem reasonable given that it was probably sold for close to or over $50k, not including ekool's company agreeing to selling it and I can assure everyone that even if $50k was collected, his company probably would want at least a 25% return on investment, so the site would be resold for $65k or so. That's a lot of money.
I don't have an opinion on this matter, but if you all really want to get the site back you need to drain all the money out of it to put it back up for sale. The only way that will happen is if ALL the active members leave and ALL of the current vendors stop supporting the site. This would probably have to go on for quite a while like 6 months or more and even then, ekool's company may still hang onto it but they would be more open for offers to buy it at a low price because they could use that money elsewhere. As crazy as it sounds, I believe that's the only way you would get the site back.
