again....no hate for Matt (sr20boston) people....dont go there. Sure he made the decision to get out...and it wasnt just for the money... try running a large popular forum, even with a good team it wears you down.

but i do think we can be successful here depending on how things pan out over the next few weeks.

if you want this place to succeed you will have to stop your posting over there tho...limit it to just discussion of the situation. sr20 content...will have to be minimal. if you want to make this place rise.

i honestly dont know which way is the best way. deal with corporate takeover... or go off on our own. tough decision...cause ive been in the middle of both methods in the past.

I have never been a fan of corporate take over. Nissan forums is one example of suck that developed.


However we have right to be pissed off at matt. He received the forum for free to maintain and hold for the community. The right was passed off to him by a previous member of the community. He should have had the decency to do the same. Money will show you a scumbags true colors.

I agree, Matt's a good guy, but I know he's intelligent enough to know this was a sell-out, and so I abhor the decision.

Some of us may have done it for the money, sure, but we'd have done it with our tail between our legs.

That money will most likely be gone someday, but this event will have always happened.
