Me Too.my b14 had the knock sensor for four years now.since. I baught her.cars been sitting for the past 4 weeks because of an idle problem.today I replaced the knock sensor.the job ain't as bad as it seems all you need to do is jack the car up and use a 12mm wrench On the bolt holding it down. Taking it off takes time cuz you relli don't have enough room for a gear wrench cuz of coolant lines.I threw a lil bit of antiseize on the bolt when I screwed the new one in.my old one was all cracked up. Like if it had dramatic temp change and spider cracked.pia for a handyman but if you know your way around the car its Jus. Lil time consuming. Cuz of space issues. Hope this helps someone
